The manufacturer Ozone has published a safety notice regarding the F*Race 2 paraglider harness.
All detail Ozone Safety Notice. In at least one case, the front strap (chest strap) opened on its own during flight. The problem could be reproduced. Under unfavorable conditions, the metal toggle that closes the front strap can slip out of the front strap loop.
The problem must be remedied by adjusting the connection between the front strap and the ABS strap. This reduces the size of the front strap loop and prevents the metal toggle from slipping out. The repair is described in the safety notice and can be carried out by the owners themselves. This repair must be carried out before the next flight with the harness. |
